Perfume - the essence of memory

I caught a scent the other day
and I was swept away.

Into the childhood memory
Of of fresh turned earth, and
new mown hay.

I caught a scent the other day, and
turned my face to the sun.

And smiled to think
a Memory
is just a scent away.

Ponderable

We need to remind our youth....

That when you adopt an idealology of violence to "change the world".
You fail to realize you are the inheritors of that world.

Influence- The Subtle Weapon

Influence leads to Credibility.
Credibility leads to Trust.
Trust leads to Belief.
Belief leads to Worship.
Worship leads to Power.
Power leads to Arrogance.
And People Can Die.
Remember This.

October: All Hallows' Eve

All Hallows' Eve sweeps across the sky
as Death follows the sun riding the moon.
And over a pale,pale land
it's shadow spreads and Magic blooms.

While All Soul's Night unfolds,takes hold;
Death's Shadow then beckons the dead
to cross the border from Memory
And a pause in life begins.

As the dead wander over the border
a chill whispers on the wind.
Myth and Legend come alive
and Halloween reigns in.

So beneath a Harvest Moon
watched over by the Shadow of Death
we share our food, wearing costumes
and celebrate life with our Dead.

Living With Fear

9/11 made us all ground zero.



And as all the generations before us.......and all the generations that follow us....

We Endure.

Where is the happy ending here?
